He said his name was John Lawson with the IRS and that I better send them all the documents he requested in 30 days. He works with David Greg who say he is with the IRS as well-512-814-4280

Just received a phone call from this number 512-814-4280, telling me they were the IRS. They were claiming that I needed to fax in missing tax forms to them. Thought it was odd, as the IRS will always mail you notices, and not call about it initially. I then called the IRS 1-800 phone number right after, and asked them to look into it. it seems like the IRS didn't have any record of calling me. Do not give them any of your personal information or tax information. Seems like fraud!

This number called me twice telling me that they were with the IRS. When I called the number back it does say on the outbound message that it is IRS but It's a well-known scam from a different number.
Beware.
Always remember the IRS does not call. They send letters only.
