Had first call from this number last week, woman claimed to be from Northwest Recovery Associates and that I owed on a payday loan, but the information they had was very out of date. I asked for all documents and evidence in writing, the woman refused saying that my only options were to pay them over the phone, go to court, or go to jail. When I kept questioning this, she hung up.

Then got second call from this number today - voicemail was deliberately(?) garbled but the woman claimed to be "Reneique" from the "Division of Pre-Trial Documents Of The State Of Texas", claimed to be "actively pursuing me at my place of employment and residence" and that I had "forfeited all my rights to court" or words to that effect.

I've reported the number to the FTC as a debt collection scam, the FTC said that they have not been able to find any registered company under that name, but are researching it to try to find the owners of the phone number.

Also checked with the State of Texas, they have no company bonded under that name, and was advised that any legal debt collection company would be bonded with the State of Texas.

The call showed on my phone as a local number, but I missed it. When I checked the voicemail, it was this Sharon Smith. She said I had the pending charges if I didn't make payment arrangements, now that they had made contact with me. When I asked her who this was with, she gave me the name of the company and the date. I have not take out a online payday loan, but she had most of my information correct. I told here this and she said if I didn't set up payments and it goes to court that I will have to pay up to 5 times as much. I think I am calling the sheriffs dept.

Got a call yesterday on June 10th 2015 at 6:20pm. Same message but said I had 4 allegations. Left the same numbers but said her name was Karen Smith.....I check it out, it's a scam.

got a call from this number (local number to me - which is a Texas #) stating they were calling from the Division of Pre-Trial from Nevada. They left a message stating there were 2 allegations and left the number 844-224-1497 and a case # - when looking that # online, it is a scam.
