Refused to tell me why they were calling until i verified my name and the address they had on file.

This is one of the caller-id numbers used by a junk debt buyer collector called TransWorldSystems Inc : also used 1-513-322-1919, 11-513-407-9398, 11-513-214-2941 yes “11” sometimes just "1-513" and the number. Also uses bogus caller-ids.
Sometimes they hang up, with no answer. Stay on the line sometimes when they do answer they will ask for the person they are looking for. Vaguely pretend to be the person to find out as much about them as you can.
Calls around 8:AM and several times a day. Calls looking for people with your same last name - fishing for information. Stay on the phone find out the person/who they are looking for, or asking about. Tell them they have been contacting the person and calling this phone number for days, weeks, or months if this is the case, and that per FDCPA rules that they are to contact a person in writing by mail after 5 days after inital and first contacting a person. And to stop calling this number because you are not the person they are looking for at this number. DO Not give them your name or any other personal information. Tell them the phone number they are calling belongs to you and the person they are looking for is not you and is incorrect. Do not help them. Ask who they are. Once you know it is TWS or TSI find out what state they are calling from, file a complaint with your and their Attorney General and FTC. Hang up once you get enough information. Have a plan. Stop this type phone harassment make them use the mail.
