some kind of card Services program not connected with any of my current credit cards. for lowering my interest rate.

They claim they are Credit Services calling to help me lower my credit card interest rate as low as 6.9% and that this is my final notice before this deal expires.

It's a call from "Cardholder Services" - an organization to which I have no prior relationship. I believe it's a scam. One time I did engage with the caller to figure out what they wanted, and they wanted me to switch over my debt to them and make payments to them. However, the process would take a few months, but I should start making payments right away. I did a search for this online and found many other people describing the same situation, and many of the reports suggested they were scammed out of their money. I made a call to my credit card company to see if this was a program they participated in and they told me that it was not. I get a few calls a day, about 6 days a week. The number changes periodically, but there are several numbers they call from.

I personally do not have credit cards but when I have decided to talk to them and waste their time like they keep doing with mine, they promtly ask for all of my credit card information numbers, correct spelling of my name ect..

It tells you to press one if you want to lower your credit card rate and it has to be above a certain amount. They want all your personal information.They won't give you a chance to tell them not to call because they will hang up before you can finish telling them. They have so many numbers that I just quit answering my phone but it's becoming annoying when your phone is ringing all day and it's them. They have even called me at 8.30 am and 9.05 pm but they call all day on both phones from different numbers and their cell numbers.

They contend that they can lower your interest rate on your credit card balances. When I have decided to not just hang up and follow through, they falsely claim to be working for my credit card company. However, when pressed to tell me what credit card I carry, they cannot do so and hang up.
