received call from person saying she was my granddaughter, who had been in an accident and arrested and charged w/ DUI. Said she was taking drugs for bad cold but had to wait for blood test verification to get charges dismissed, and needed bail to get out of jail. They knew my name, her husbands name, etc. and it sounded like her w/ a head cold. She said her lawyer would call, and shortly afterward I received a call from a person identifying himself as Terry Johnson, a lawyer in Fort Lauderdale FL. He repeated what the woman posing as my granddaughter had told me and said she could be released on bail of $2000, which I was to send to his Assistant, Jeremy Rose, at 500 Broward Blvd. in FT. Lauderdale, FL 33062, via MoneyGram; and, I was to call them w/ the tracking number when I sent the money.
