call from 515-313-0612 - wanted me to support, and leave a voice message on legislation about equality, number ID was MEDIACOM ... he said he'd remain on the line, and to give them my name & address ... suspicious ... I hung up

Had a phone call saying they were calling from a cable company. Not sure of the name. I tell them I thought it was a call from MEDIACOM. The person calling tells me that they will transfer me to MEDIACOM, and that MEDIACOM will call me withing a few minutes. A few minutes later I receive a call from that same company that had called.
