I get these calls every other day from "Sarah from consumer services". An indian picks up, I try to play along, they end up hanging up on me after a few seconds. One guy told me he didn't give a fuck if I called the police. Very uncomfortable.

I received a call on 2-18-16 on my cell phone. I never pick up calls from phone numbers I don't recognize. I called the number back on my work phone and the number comes back as not in service.. I tried several times thinking I misdialed. I think it is a blocked call.

I'm actually concerned about this phone call. I have been receiving calls from this scammer for a few weeks now, but it is always from different phone numbers. I pressed 7 today, hoping to be removed from their list (some services have a press 7 or press 9 to be removed) and it connected me with a live agent, who had an Indian accent. I asked to be removed from his list and he said, "I love you." Confused, I asked him to repeat what he said, and again, he said "I love you." He repeated one of three phrases over and over to me: "I love you," "Will you marry me?" and "I like your voice." regardless of what I said. I asked to be remove from their list, I told him I would report them to the FTC. Finally, when I told him I would report them to the police for harassment, he said, "I have your number and I will keep calling you. The police can't do anything for you." I immediately hung up. I feel incredibly uncomfortable and I'm not sure where to go from here. I've reported them to the FTC, but I don't have any more information than a couple of the phone numbers they've used and "Sarah from consumer services" to go from. Anyone else have this kind of experience?

I am concerned - they have been calling people all day - notice the dates above are all today. I fear they have hacked a vendors records in which we all exist - hopefully not a credit card database.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my work cell phone pretty regularly. I finally waited for someone to get on the line to tell them to remove the number from their call list. As soon as the guy heard "company cell phone" he immediately hung up on me. I was not rude at all, and I gave him no reason to respond that way. When I tried to call back, it said it was not a working number. Go figure....

Call came in for lower interest rate, pre recorded message says there is an issue with one of my CC's.

Spent 15 min hassling the guy! I asked what credit card he listed several (Chase, Wells fargo, Capital one, bank of America) and asked which one I would like to lower, I said all of them! He asked if I had my card on me, I do not. He needed my card to verify me, I told him that he called me so why would they need to verify me? He asked for expiration of one of my cards so I shot out a random month and year but was then asked again for my CC number and I responded with, which one? The one you would like to lower your interest rate on. All of them! Can I call back when you might have your CC on you? Oh you want to do this again, of course, call me back whenever you're feeling froggy!
