Just got a call from 516-209-0014. Their line was they were from the "Federal Crime Enforcement Network". "Peter" claimed that there was a case against me. SCAM.

I received a call from an "officer" stating that a legal claim had been filed against me. When I called back, they asked me for my social security number to look up my case. When I refused, they said they were going to send the police out to arrest me..

Someone with a strong Indian accent called claiming he was Agent Officer Robert Johnson from the IRS. Asked me to call 416-209-0014 that a lawsuit had been filed against my name. What a bunch of crap.

Like the other callers said... I received a call today from Samuel Baxter. Caller ID shows it's from my local sheriff's office. Told me to call this number and ask for Greg Martin regarding an IRS claim. Voice was difficult to understand.

Got the same call just now too, but this guy Samuel Baxter claimed to be from the Santa Clara Sheriff Office. His called also came from the sheriff office number and advised me to call Greg Martin at the 516 number. What a fraud they are running.

I just had the same call. Said his name was Sam Baxter from DC police department. the number the call came from (202-715-7300 is actually the DC police station). The message said Greg Martin is working with the IRS and I needed to go to the police station, call Greg back or they will be forced to send the police to my doorstep and place of employment. Scary. I called the 7300# back and the police department confirmed it is a scam.

Received a local phone call from a man stating I had a tax complaint against me and that I needed to call 516-209-0014 to clear the problem up. Called this number and the man answers the call with IRS, after I asked him his physical location, he hung up on me.

The caller said he was with the IRS. Very obvious spam!
