Had same cal this morning, with C972784 as the “case number”...robocall
Called 8/9/19 1:37 pm from 516-261-1098
Identified as US Treasury Tax and Fraud Division. Said someone had filed a tax fraud case against me - had my name and phone number which he read back. Said my case number was CP97278 and name was Patrick (Simon?).
Sounded like a call center. When he repeated and said there was a case against me I said there is no way on earth. Hung up.
