They have had a lady call me and then also this Steve, both times they tell me that I recieved a payday loan from "one of our many affiliatas" and that I failed to pay it back so they are demanding twice the supposted amount and legal fees.
When I asked for proof of the loan they say they they will have to get back to me.
Police
Threat to sue me by the u.s. gov. for money I borrowed. which I did not. Wants money or I will be sued..no thanks
I too as well as my daughters have been contacted by this man, all they want is money do not fall for it. .called twice yesterday and it was Sunday...you know the U. S. gov doesn't work on Sundays.
This is one of several numbers used to contact my employer. Individuals with a heavy foreign accent and using simple U.S. names (this one left my secretary with the name Steve Erwin; a couple days ago it was David Lee) call my office at least once a day and leave a message asking that I return their call immediately before their United Nations' affiliated organization takes serious legal action about a fictitious debt that I owe. My employer's in-house attorney has reported this to the Michigan Attorney General's office but, apparently, there is little that can be done with harrassing calls from a foreign source.
