Phone number was 5163081992. Caller's name was Robert Wilson. He said I had won $495,000 second place PCH. The check would be delivered the next day, Friday, 10/28/2011 by Fed Ex. A PCH rep would be there also with a badge of ID. Asked some information but nothing about account numbers, etc.
Person saying he was Robert Wilson called saying, as the others noted, that was second winner and had won $295,000 from PCH. Did not ask for any info except my birthday and I told him I didn't give out any personal info. He said that was okay as long as I was over 21. He said they would deliver the check today 2/23/11 between 2 and 6 pm. I called PCH and they do not call before a check is delivered. They gave me their fraud info number 800-392-4190. I called last night and gave them the above info. More though. A person saying he was from Customs called me this morning saying he had a package for me from PCH and asked me if I was expecting a pkg from them. I said no. My husband said I should have said yes since we had already called our police dept. and they said call 911 if they come to my house. I feel that probably the package would have been mailed anyway. Wouldn't we like to catch this kind of scum????
Someone called my aunt in Auburh Alabama, stating that they were from PCH (Publisher's Clearing House). Said they would deliver her check today, 1/28/11. Asked her if she had a bank but didn't ask her for a number. My aunt is 80 years! They should be ashamed and locked up! I told her to call the police immediately!
Received a phone call from a Jennifer Richards. Stated I won the 2nd prize in the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes for $495,000.00. She asked for my date of birth and if I had a checking account, savings account or debit card. I gave my date of birth but she did not ask for any of my bank account numbers. Ms. Jennifer Richards stated that they would deliver a check to me the following day between 2pm and 6pm. She also gave me a serial number for the check that was written out to me. I called the local police and they stated that it was probably a scam and to call them immediately if anyone showed up at the house. Ms. Richareds also gave me the 516-882-3024 phone number as a contact call back number. This is a New York area code and I reside in Florida which also threw me off. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!! DON'T EVER GIVE ANY OF YOUR BANK INFORMATION OUT AND CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE IMMEDIATELY

did you ever get a check in the mail
Caller stated I won $495,000 from Publisher's clearing house. Said her name was Jennifer Richards. Asked for date of birth and email address. Didn't give her info. She did not ask for bank account or for any money. Just said they'd deliver the check between 2-6pm tomorrow. When I questioned the legitamacy of the call she gave me 1-888-410-9605 as the Publisher's Clearing House claims department.
