Automated voice claimed to calling to lower my credit card interns rate. When I pressed one to speak to a person and ask them wash company they were calling from they hung up on me.

They called me this afternoon- first it was an automated message saying they could get my credit card rates down to below 6%, press 1 to speak to someone and press 2 to speak to someone about something else. I knew it was a scam (happened to me recently with a california phone number) so I pressed 1, and they immediately started telling me what info they need from me to consider me for a lower interest rate. I cut the man off and said "excuse me, but you never said what credit card this was for, sir. who do you work for?" and he said this was for citi, chase, bank of america, and discover credit cards. when i replied with "that's interesting, those are 4 very different very separate companies- how could you possibly be representing all of them at once?" he hung up on me.

They called @ 1:45a.m.this morning. My brother-in-law is in the hospital not doing well and I thought it was my sister calling with bad news. Scared me. I called them and it asked me to press 1 to be taken off their call list. I did. Guess what....they called again today@ 4:45 p.m.

They called last night at 2:00 AM, then three times more! I had to disconnect the phone? This is insane!

Robocalled four times in ten minutes at 2:30 a.m. Simply hanging up didn't stop the calls. I had to let my cell phone ring until voice mail answered. It didn't leave a message, but it stopped redialing my number.

They just called again now at 12:39 AM!!! This time I picked up, and there was no-one there, but I hung up fast. My caller ID said "survey", but as I'm reading the comments here, it's another credit card scam. They've called me several times before, I've never answered except this time, as a family member is very ill, so I picked up. They should be prosecuted. In fact I think I'll contact my Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman here in NY.

These assholes called me at 12:07 a.m. with a robocall to "discuss my credit card options." How the hell do I make them stop.
