Caller: Portfolio Recovery Associates
TI called the number back and it is Portfolio Recovery. They are a nuisance company that buys bill claims and harasses people to get their info. They came after me,. I sent them letters explaining I owed nothing, years ago. Because I talked to them gave them an excuse to reopen the case. They took me to court and judge exonerated me telling me I needn't appear. Now they continue to harrass me. My credit was marred because they didn't have any info until they insisted I write a letter. Like a fool, I told them everything. Block them from your phone. They have several numbers.
