Medical Alert System. Tried to et him to mail info, as I wouldn't give info over the phone - he hung up on me.

I've received about half a dozen calls from this number over the last 6 weeks. They never leave a message and when I do answer they hang up.
It was a Senior services company. I didn't listen to the entire call. When I heard it was a telemarketing thing, I tried to hang up, but couldn't. It kept calling me back! I finally selected an option and voiced my irritation at not being able to use my phone because they were compromising my line, (and was put on hold for 2 minutes!) to a woman, who said merely that she would put me on their no call list. If I had an emergency, I could not use my phone because they will not disconnect. Several telemarketing companies do this, and when you hang up, they call back. Very annoying! If I had to call emergency services, I would be unable to because of this type of call and not being able to disconnect the line from them. It is a potential life saving hazard.
