Thanks for the comments from writer no.1 . We've ignored the previous 6 calls(scammers are persistent pests) also knowing we owed no money. I checked the 517 area code which is in Michigan and not overseas where potentenial victims might unwittingly call. My next step is to report them to the FCC and Better Business Bureau.

I was told I was being sued by the IRS and that I was under investigation and that I needed to call back because IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call back 517-917-4094 - I called back and was told I could grant them access to my bank account via EFTS, I owed $6825, I don't owe anything, I ask for control # and badge# i was given 8139628523 which is a phone# and not the number that called me?? then another gave badge# GS352, I hung up and called back several times and the same African male voice answered with different names Mathew Washington, Agent Wes, and David Miller, one time he forgot to play the office background noise when he picked up - finally he started saying hello, I said I thought I was calling IRS. I ask them to tell me what State I filed taxes in, I also also ask the amounts I so called filed including the employers, they advised they were not concerned with giving me that information, wanted to know if I was going to pay or defraud the govt under section 7220. I ask where he was located he said Washington DC in the Atty Gen Building on the 3rd floor, I told him I was in the building, I would be right up, I advised he was a scam artist and i was reporting him and he hung up on me
