This is the phone number for MetLife as I've called it back due to having an issue with my policy.

Called trying to confirm medical payments.
I get no medical payments so I called Met Life 800 for verification that someone tried to contact me.

Apologized for having the wrong information.

Person had to contract number or other numbers to verify. Just odd.

Metlife said no one called me per my records and that it was probably a spammer fishing.

This is MetLife's legit main number. All internal callers calling from the company show up with this number: customer service, sales, auto/home insurance, FMLA, dental, etc. This is not a scam; it is a legitimate business number. They do not do marketing calls to anyone other than their existing customers that have given them permission to call. If you get a call and you think it is spam or spoofed, ask for a callback number and call them back.

Omg they did the same thing I don’t know what to I thought I took out Insurance with these people an I didn’t they were a scam I even gave them my bank information n they n I knew once I wasn’t able to get My ID card for my coverage it was obviously not right they send me a bullshit ass policy number with only 9 digits so when I contacted the Metlife they told me the digits are 10 not 9 smh so messed up I needed to find cheap insurance out here in New York

This is not MetLife. I was contacted by a woman who claimed she was "verifying" my information on my account. I immediately contacted MetLife who said no one from their company had contacted me. This is a scam!
