Home alarm service. Recording starts "The FBI has...and if you allow us to put a small sign in your yard...
I get these calls daily, same recorded message but from different telephone numbers.
Today's call was from 518-292-6634,caller ID "NY ALERT"
A person came on the line and Identified the company as Security Technologies.

I got a call and an email at the same time from suny plattsburgh....apparently its part of a test for emergency notification procedures.

got a call from "NY Alert" asking me to call this number to obtain my message. Sounds like a company looking for people who answer their phones so they can sell numbers to telemarketers.

I got two calls this morning -- 9:12 and 9:18 am. Called them back and got an pre-recorded message saying that they were NY Alert and then got disconnected.
