Left a message claiming that I'm being sued by the IRS. It was a bot.

I received phone calls from the same above number. I called the 911 and Police. They told me not to respond to this number. Such a call came to my children also. They told me that I have to pay taxes otherwise I would be in trouble. The first time I hung up. But after the 911 told me that this was a fraud, I screamed at them when they called again. I told them that I know they were fraud and that we will find them and punish them for their fraud. However, they are not afraid, and I got a call again today, Jan 1, 2015. I agree with those victims of this idiotic fraud who think that the Government ought to do something to this type of harassment. These idiots are taking away our piece and get to our nerves. The first call was from a woman, the second one - from a man, the call coming in today did not leave a message as I was out of my home.

Received this call from this number this evening.The man which was definitely Hindu or Hindi want ed me to access my computer and do exactly as he requested.He began quoting that there was an LS message error from which came from my computer.Only LS message errors I get are the ones where a Ls message was not received in a game I play.LS in Final Fantasy XI is LS= Linkshell which is a ingame device sort of like a guild in WoW or other MMORPG games.He wanted me to do this and that and I just sat the phone down while he was talking.My phone doesn't have a speaker phone so I just let it go.Sadly my girlfriend picked up the phone and she told him to Shag Off. Lmao love my girlfriend and her short tempers,Haha!

Got a call from this number as the name and the number are the same. Instead of the caller's name, my call display shows the number. Then, I knew that this was fake as I received a similar call just last week.

Caller identified himself as Brian Douglas but had a thick Indian accent. He stated he was with the United States Government Grant Department and because I had been a good citizen I was being issued $7500 for paying my taxes on time and not filing bankruptcy in the past 6 months. He gave me an approval code of JM102 and that his manager was Nick Ray. He went over the payment options which were direct deposit to savings or checking accounts or to a gift card, debit card, or credit card. I asked him to just send a check and he said that checks sometimes end up in the wrong hands and I wouldn't get my money (surprise surprise). The call lasted about 10 minutes. The caller agreed to call back tomorrow since I claimed not to have any of the numbers he wanted on me at the time. I called my local police department but they said there is nothing they can do. I've filed reports with the FCC before and they have not appeared to do anything either. Caller ID showed a valid looking 10-digit number and an ID of "PAYPHONE" Attempting to call the number back resulted in an automated message saying the number was not in service. It's unfortunate with all the money the gov't wastes that we don't have any way to help stop these types of calls - especially when we have the scam artist calling back at a known time. Hopefully no one gets fooled by these idiots.
