Message was left to call the officer at another number.

Someone called me and said their was a problem with my Social Security number, and to call 518-800-4700. When I called a robot answered saying this is the Social Security Administration, please hold on for one of our officers. When the officer answers they ask how can I help you. I say I was told to call about my Social Security Number and then they hang up.

Very threatening call. My social security number had been compromised and I need to call a certain number immediately or I would lose my social security number in 24 hours. I can see why many would be scared and think this was a legitimate call.

Said I am being investigated and my social security number would be suspended. Press 1 to prevent this from happening.

Same call, left a message about suspicious activity with SS number!!

Computer voice, bad English.

I live in California, and these creeps have called twice in the past week at 4:20 a.m. After the spiel about threats to my computer, the robo voice says, "If this call is in error, please excuse. Thanks." Thanks???? Thanks for waking me up at 4:20 a.m.? What a**holes!
