This is one of the numbers that calls once or twice EVERY night. We are on the West Coast in Canada! We don't answer the phone and have tried call blocking but the numbers keep changing just enough to get through. We are sick of this scamming outfit!

Robo call claiming to be from IRS and that legal action is pending. Total Scam.

The IRS will send certified letters.
They will not give you a robotic cold call.

Had a call from this number. He identified himself as a
employee of Microsoft. He told me that I had a problem with my computer and wanted me to press the control key and R key at the same time to correct the problem. I hung up.

Got a recorded message that I was being sued by the IRS (or something close to that) and that I had to call back on a 202 area code number immediately.

said he was from microsoft and my computer was sending info to them about a large number of viruses that had infected deep into my computer and only he could help by going to www.ammyy.com. when you go to this web page you are giving him permission to remotely control your computer for free. i said no, i said you are not from microsoft, caller id just gave me a phone number, no, he insisted only he could fix my computer, the viruses were to deep into the system, i said no, no, no and hung up. my experience with microsoft is, they don't do anything for free and they have never called me, ever. they don't directly answer any problems you may be having......
