A misleading robo call that opens with a warning that the Trump Administration may eliminate student loan forgiveness programs and makes an offer to be connected to a live student loan specialist.

The call insults our intelligence on many levels, including their "shotgun" approach to making mass phone calls, hoping to find a few people who owe student loans, and their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this insulting, automated, intrusive and unwanted robo call:

[Google Voice announcement:] "...call is now being recorded."

[me:] "Hello?"

[female voice:] "Urgent new update for anyone with a student loan. Trump has officially taken office. He has proclaimed to get rid of or modify SL Code 2009A which offers Student Loan forgiveness and relief for people who cannot afford their current payment. With all this uncertainty don't miss out on your chance to lower your payments by up to 75% or even have them totally forgiven. Press one now to speak to a student loan specialist or press 9 to be removed from our list. Once again press 1 now to get your student loan payment significantly lower or press nine to be removed from our list."

NOTE: Why would I have to press 9 to be put on their Do Not Call list when I'm already on the Government Do Not Call list? What's a matter with these idiots?
