I PRESSED ONE, THE LADY ON THE OTHER END SAID, I SEE YOU HAVE $3K+ IN CREDIT CARD DEBT AND ARE INTERESTED IN REDUCING THAT? I SAID, NO - I AM INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT WHY YOU ARE CALLING MY CELL PHONE THAT IS ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. SHE PROMPTLY HUNG UP.

(I have now received this call so many times, all from different numbers, that I recognize the voice in the recording.) Offer from "card services" to lower my credit card rates to as low as 6% as long as I have at least $3000 in debt and at least one card in good standing. I pressed 1 to talk to a representative, who answered quickly and said he could take care of taking me off their calling list.
