I got the same text - Definitely a scam

" I'm glad it's still available. I'm willingly to pay ur asking price. I will pay you with Cashier Check as its the only way I can pay you at the moment due to the fact that I am away for a business emergency so send me your full name and mailing address so payment can be mailed out immediately. Pick up arrangement will be made after payment is receive and cashed."

I almost fell for it until I read the other posts. Thanks!!

Same here, they seem to look up $400+ listed items, then try to scam you with a certified check. My TEXT message read:

As you can see, the foreigner stands out in their grammar. I text back to them and told them I reported them to the FBI and posted online, which I did.

Sold item on Craigslist and said they would send certified check and ask for your info
