The caller said that I had signed up on line to receive gift card from Visa. The guy from the Tucson area code was very rude when I told him he had no right to call me because I'm on the Do Not Call Registry. He told me that they had the right to call me because I signed up on the web - and when I told him that I didn't - he just kept talking over me. That was until I told him I would report him to the FCC if he didn't remove my number from their list. I then called the Virginia area code number and made the same demand. But I also have missed calls that are 800 numbers and "unknown" number hang ups that I assume are related. Since all the calls are identical (only the "gift" they're holding out as bait is different) - I assume it's the same SCAM. I wonder if Visa and Olive Garden are participants in this annoyance or victims as well?

Saying that I had won 3000 dollar to stores and I was in a drawing for one million dollars if I joined in sweepstakes for three dollar a week promotion
I got an e-mail for 2 free southwest airline tickets. after filling out some screens, which was all my info, It said it required paticipation, so i hung up. I got a call today saying that not completed my information and if i completed it i would get the 2 tickets, a 5000.00 gift card and a chance to win 1 million. I was caught off guard being that i was at my doctors office and so in completed the requirements. They were nice and gave me their names as Trevor and Chris. I asked if i could opt out at any time and they said yes. The participation was to subscribe to magazines 30 months at 39.90 a month. Oh, and they said I was recieving and IPod soon! OMG, did i screw up??? They deducted the first payment already but i am monitoring my account very closely. I hope it's not a scam!
