Even after opting off of their call list (which I should never have been on to begin with since I am on the DNC list and they were calling my cell phone - double illegal), I continued to get calls from 'Heather.'
After about a bajillion times of agreeing to talk to a real person, and having the call immediately end, I finally got though!
I was given the following number to call and have my number removed:
*** (949) 229-4522.***
Hopefully this works. If not, I have a solid, non-robo dialing number to report to the FTC.
scam
Car warranty ran out
They say they are calling about my car warranty. I don't have a car warranty.
I get daily sometimes three times a day automated calls from Heather from Auburn CA. Hudson CO. San Diego CA. Augusta ME. Chicago IL. Lake Wales FL. Akron MI. Always Heather and always dealer services. She tells we my warranty is expired do I want to renew, if I say yes it hangs up on me and of course if I call back it beep beep beep then dead silence.
