These are criminals. Nothing they tell you is real. There is no Harrison Law Firm...at least not at this magicjack phone number. Do not give them any information. The best thing you can do is simply hang up and report these criminals to the police.

It appears to me that this scam is connected to instant loan. Payday loans, Tax refund loans, etc. This is how they got your information. If you have recently obtained a loan of this type, report the lender to the police. The lender has sold your personal information to the criminals using this magicjack phone number to operate a scam.

also call from Harrison Law Firm. Alleged he was attorney Mack Hendrix, bar number 9370593. I am also an attorney and this person could not give me his clients name. He did not speak English well and became increasingly agitated with him. The bar number he gave me is for an inactive attorney. I have filed complaints with the Texas Unauthorized Practice of Law Commission and the FTC and put fraud alerts on all my credit reports. Anyone else who gets these calls should do the same.

ALLEGES THAT I OWE 489.32. SO WRONG!!!!!!!!!! IT IS A SCAM FOR POEPLE WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR PAYDAY LOANS, SO THIS IS HOW THEY HAVE YOUR INFORMATION AND A GOOD WAY FOR YOUR ID TO BE STOLEN . PLEADE BE CAUTIOUS.

I have been called by this number over the last week at least 13 times. I asked for the lawyers name, address, debtor name and address. Of course I did not get anywhere with them. All they wanted was some additional information. I told them to stop making these calls but for over 1 1/2 years they called my brother, sister in PA, work, and my manager. Lucky for me that I informed each of them of this scam. One of my managers actually spoke to the "guy" who said he was going to arrest him. I just called them back but after I said I was going to inform the DA of Chicago, of course they hung up. We all need to keep informing our state and local governmental offices.

Not sure of the callers name because he did not speak good english at all but he did say he was from Harrison Law Firm and did I have an attorney because I owe cash advance payday 10.000 in payday loans. The caller could not tell me what bank account the funds were deposited to or provide me with something that had my signature on it to prove I took out a loan. This is totally a scam everyone beware and this will be investigated.
