I knew it was a recording from "Account Services", and I was right. Caller ID said TRIPLE V. Would you like to take a guess how sick and tired I am of these scammers? Hit the big red BLOCK button for this new number from this old scammer.

They call me all the time. Once I pressed 1 and got a representative. When he asked me for my cc# I replied "well, you're the one who called me, which cc# are you calling about?". He hung up on me.

Called and I answered I was on the Do Not call list and asked how they got my number and noone answered so I hung up--will add to my blocked caller list

Lower credit card rate scam

The caller announced the reason for the call was to reduce the interest I was paying on my credit card. He wanted the last 12 numbers on the card so he could fix my rate at 6%. I was suspicious from the beginning so I gave him a phony expiration date and he bit, telling me I hadn't missed any payments and I had always paid on time for at least the last 6 months! He also said I owed over 3 thousand $ which was inaccurate. At that time I told him he was a scam artist and should be prosecuted. I told him never to call my number again and hung up the phone.
