Said I was to receive a prepaid emergency alert system for my home use. That someone bought it for me. And shipping was free too. John was the person's name. First time was a live caller, told them not to call me. Second time was a pre recorded call, same voice. First call from 540 number below, second from 571 number. This was written up in AARP magazine as a scam.

they insisted that i had a computer problem and that they could fix it. when i asked if i had an existing business relationship with them, my heavily-accented sales rep "Peter" replied no. i informed them that this would be subject to the FTC's Do Not Call law which prohibits this kind of solicitation, but Peter continued trying to sell me his company's services
