It was unclear what they were offering in the pre-recorded message. I'm not a customer of Bank of America, so I assume this was a manipulative attempt to have me apply for a new credit card. The agent hung up on me when I asked how they got my number—before I could ask what exactly they were offering.

Prerecorded message asking if I wanted to lower the rate on my credit card. Said to press 1 if I was interested. I did so and a person answered and I informed him that I did not have a credit card. He said we must have the wrong number and hung up.

Credit. The message was deceptive in that it identified itself as Credit Card Services (which could be one of my credit cards). When I pressed 1 it allowed me to speak to someone. I asked them to remove me from their call list and they said NO (and very rudely I might add).
