The automated message was from Heather at Account Services regarding my credit card interest rate. They were offering to lower my credit card interest rate due to my excellent credit history. I pressed one to accept the offer and a man came on the phone. I asked if he actually worked for my credit card company and he said yes which was a lie. I confirmed with my card company. When I asked who he worked for he hung up on me.
