Calls over and over but won't leave a VM. Called 4 times in the last 3 hours! SCAM and now blocked!

I answered. Nobody there. I called back. Someone pretended to be an automatic message and said, "This number is unallegated." I'm sorry; I work in the English Department of a major university, and that is NOT a word ("unallegated").

NO, "unalligated" is not a word, but unallocated is.

Look it up..."allocate".....you should know this word.

Also, don't ever tell anyone that you work in the English Dept of a MAJOR University.

If you do, this connection between a robotic voice saying "unallegated" and your expected knowledge of the word "unallocated" should have been instant.

I just got called, pretty vague auto dialer recording saying that I qualify for a lower interest rate on my credit card account, and to press 1 if interested.. YEAH no.. I hung up after that as pressing any number can cause surcharges to your cell phone account- SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Go to the next dummy.

My cell phone was called by this number a few minutes ago and did not answer. No voice mail message was left. I did not return the call, as I do not know anyone in Oregon. I'm marking it down as spam.
