Keep getting calls from an Indian sounding man who calls himself Sam Jones from microsoft world wide web. told me he was getting error reports from my computer and that I could get into trouble. Not all that good with computers I was a bit concerned, He told me that Tracy would be calling me in the next 15 min to help sort things out and that it was a free service provided my Microsoft. I allowed Tracy remote access to my p c and she showed me all these little boxes that popped up on my screen telling me they were all major errors and that she would load microsorft essentials and pc clean onto my computer. this took about an hour, when she had finished she again rang me saying that my pc was now like new and there was a charge of £97.00 for the service , I said that I was under the impression it was free, she said only if they found no fault s, but as mine was so badly infected I would have to pay. cut long story short I paid then after hanging up decided to cancel rang bank explained they were great and said they were aware of this scam monies were stopped card details cancelled new card issued .
The following day this Sam Jones rang to say they could not get the money, I told him that I had cancelled with this he became angry and said he would refund my money, I said not to refund as I have not paid any. now here the daft bit , He said I would have to pay so he could then refund me Dah! still getting weekly calls from them

I just got a call from this number from a man with a heavy accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He said his name was "John Carter" I asked to speak with his supervisor, who he then put on the phone. It sounded like the same man. told him I knew it was a scam and he admitted it.

Called twice in a period of three days. Different person both times. Said they have received information from my Microsoft computers that they are infected with threats and viruses. First time I hung up. Second time I asked the caller which computer, he said any one of them, all of them. He became aggressive and told (not asked) me to log onto my computer immediately. I refused and suggested he call again in hour and ask to speak with my husband.

Caller claims to be SAM JONES from Microsoft to help fix a complaint with your computer. Wants to know how many computers are in your home, etc.
