Scam artists

Called saying they were an "officer" started to talk about driving with seat belts, started to go on. Said something else, I said I DON'T BELIEVE YOU'RE AN OFFICER AND HUNG UP.

Police don't call for donations, we pay for their services through our taxes, etc. These morons are a bunch of phony carpetbaggers!!

Was told that they are collecting money for police officers injured on duty. He said the minimum donation is $11.00. I played along and requested that I get the information either emailed which I old not open on my computer but maybe on someone that I did not like much, or be mailed. I told him it was so I could check on the legitimacy of the fund raiser. He immediately said, thank you and maybe you could donate next time and hung up. I suspect that they are not very legitimate or they would have sent me any info I requested. I know that I would do that if I was a legitimate caller. Obviously a scam trying to get my checking account number or card number.
