My father received a call on his cell phone from a man claiming to be his nephew and he was in Mexicali and wanted to come by to visit. So we were preparing for a visit from him. Then there was a second call from him, more in a franctic voice that he was in a car accident and that he only had so much money in travelers checks and he didn't have enough money to pay for him to get out of jail. He then passed the phone onto another man who pretended to be a police man with the name of Gustavo Naranjo Gutierrez and then explained the story again. He wanted us to wire money to a Western Union Office in Tecate, Baja California to the attention of Angelica Calderon Torres immediately and to be sure to use "envio minutos". The voice did not sound like my cousin so we called my family in Mexico and told us that he is fine and not to send any money. He just now called again wondering what happened to the money. So now I have a phone number slightly different from the one mentioned in the previous posts. SO BEWARE!!!!

SORRY WRONG PHONE NUMBER SHOULD HAVE BEEN 554-994-7959
