Got the same call. Said it was the US Treasury Department and I was going to have to appear for an enforcement action for a Federal Criminal offense.Repeated message three times on answering machine.

Tried to get the Del Ray police department to do something but they said I first have to send him money. Then there would be a case.

just had same conversation with this guy - I said I was going to contact the IRS directly and he tried to say that they were no longer handling the request

said if I didn't call this number back I could be going to the Federal Grand jury as if I did anything wrong. These guys need to be thrown in jail

We got the same scam phone call this morning. I know the US Treasury does not call taxpayers. Unfortunately, I am confident he will continue scamming.

David Grey called claiming I owed over $7K from 2013 Tax Return and if I didn't comply immediately there was a warrant for my arrest. I told them to send the police and IRS to arrest me and we can discuss then as all my tax returns have been filed and ok for the last 40 + years. I then hung up. I called the IRS and Treasury Department to report but haven't gotten through as of yet.

Scam US DEPT of Treasury can not a native American speaker Asian Indian accent. I told them the IRS does not call. They come to the door, or mail. Get your scam straight. I'm thinking of letting my very talkative 3-year-old grandson call them back, They are stupid enough to answer the phone when I called back.

Scam, Said they were IRS and I was going to get arrested in the next day or 2 by the IRS ! Claimed that my 2013 taxes were not filed correctly. These guys are thieves !
