Stringing scammers along can be fun, especially when they call work and work is a Federal agency. We take requests for economic data from the public, media, universities and others. Lately about 90% of our calls are scam-related and this is having an unfortunate impact on assisting valid data users. I asked David if he could repeat his name for verification at which point he became insulting. I thanked him for his name, company name (Credit Card Services), phone number, and location of Boca Raton, FL; then let him know that I was passing this along to our agency's security office. The conversation went down hill for him at that point but I thought it was hilarious.

Credit card scam. Automated voice tells you they have important information about your credit card and want to connect you to a representative (who will no doubt collect your credit card information.)

Sigh- We all know what this. Lame losers.

Credit / Loan scam. Number is (caller ID) fake. Feds NEED ro shut this BS abuse down.
A$$ Holes call all hours of the day (5am , 11pm ect)
