Legitimate call from the Kaiser Permanente automated notification system. I've received several calls from it over the years, but today it was a message from the Kaiser pharmacy calling the daytime phone I have on file to let me know a prescription I recently requested a refill on has been filled and has been mailed to me. The message also included a couple of phone numbers I can call if I want to stop receiving calls at this phone, but I had specifically opted to receive phone notifications about the status of the refill when I requested it via my online member account. This KP phone number is registered in Downey, CA, but I'm in Northern California, so this is a general Kaiser notification number that serves the whole state, I guess.

This was an electronic phone call stating I had a message from Kaiser. First time it happened, I followed up with Kaiser Customer Service Department directly since the automated call asked for me referencing the last digits of my medical record number. Then asked me to press "1" for English. Go figure! That's what the robot was already speaking. After having to enter my entire MRN to obtain the message. They had incorrect information and requested actions already taken to activate enrollment. Customer service couldn't explain the call, but said I could disregard it as all was as it should be with my membership.

A lot of scam callers spoof their caller id with a legitimate business' phone number. I have had this happen several times.

This is a legitimate Kaiser Pharmacy call as I have a Rx to pick up today and they left a message that it is ready and they had the correct location where I am to pick it up. Legitimate call.
