Really tired of the 4 to 5 calls from this #!! It rings 2 to 3 times then hangs up. I decided to answer the last one today and it was a weird voice telling me that my attorney or I needed to call them back immediately about IRS issue. If I didn't, then they felt sorry for me and what was going to happen! I added this to my "Do Not Call" list but they still call!!

Automated robo call -- IRS scam stating i need to call or they will bring lawsuit against me.

The number 562-412-2540 is used by scammers pretending to be the IRS.

I've been filing complaints with https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Information?OrgCode=IRS#crnt&panel1-4 for each call I receive, including the number the scammers called from in the complaint.

Then I Google the number to get links for the top 5 reverse number lookup services for that phone number, and I add this message with links to the IRS page and Treasury+FTC complaint pages. Anyone else looking up the number on Google will see the links to report the fraud, which deprives the fraudsters of the use of that phone number.

IRS scam. Automated system. Ridiculous.
