just recieved a call. it shows up as Norwalk, Ca and he then answers back and says he is from DC. He said I owed money and it was a federal offensive. I told him to stop calling my 9 yr olds cell phone or I'll call the police. He hung up.

they called me at six in the morning, which last i checked is illegal, as soon as I made the aware, the phone strangely disc.

call about avoiding a Department of Treasury indictment. Hey dummies, the US Government doesn't tell you that you have a court date you never heard about by using a cell phone call. They send a written summons. And there is zero chance that you didn't know you had difficultly with them long before you get a summons.

They called from 5626672506 left message urging me to call them back at 8484467363 so they could "help" me avoid appearing before a federal magistrate. Scam call.

called at 8 am left message said something about serious problem court involved..I called them back they answered treasury dept & I said don't ever call this number again.

Absolutely 100% FRAUDULENT. Claims to be calling from the "Federal Government/IRS" and wanting to discuss my 2010/2011 tax returns before I am "arrested and taken before a federal magistrate." I asked him to verify my information (social security), and it was obvious that he could not. He "wished me luck" and hung up on me.
