this number called me. Clearly they had an Indian ascent. It was an automated sales call to "lower my interest rates". I selected the option to speak with a representative. He wanted to know what card I was calling about. I told him that HE was calling me on my cell and that i didn't want him calling my number anymore for sales calls. At that point he began saying that I should go do specific things with my daughter and when that didn't get me upset he told me to do the same things with my mother. He said he represented Chase & Capital investments among others. Obviously, it's hard to hold someone accountable in a country were people still crap on the train tracks, but I plan to let Chase know how they are being represented by their call center.

Called my cell phone. I disconnected the call as it is not a number I know nor will I pick up such calls.

Recording about my credit card eligible for a lower rate. Push 1 to connect. I pushed 1 and a guy answered "card member services". I asked him what card he was calling about, he asked me which one has the highest balance. I said if you are my card provider, you'd know. He said "shut up. Do you want to lower your rate, or not?" Excuse me? He repeated, " you heard me. Shut up. You're talking to the man now. Do you want to lower your rate?"
I hung up and called back. Number now cannot accept incoming calls. What a f***** prick scam artist.

The called and then gave me a bunch of generic credit info then started phishing for info about my card at which time I started asking about his company before he hung up

Just had a call from this number and of course the *&^%$ didn't leave a message. Called it back and got a weird signal so it's definitely a SCAM. Blocked the number on my phone but that is probably minimally effective.

they have somehow picked up that I have been getting a lot of calls from the Davenport, Ia area and chose to use that number.... My nephew just passed away of course I will answer.....

The phone number provided is probably spoofed from a legit business. No need in pulling your hair out in frustration simply DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE when an UNFAMILIAR number calls you. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list too, but you must realize that criminals up to nefarious mischief are not about to honor the DNC list. Heck, they probably don't even know (or care) that such a thing exists. Furthermore, don't expect the FCC to do anything about these scammers either.
