Scam company calling themselves either Credit or Card Services - A woman calling herself Linda contacted my wife telling her that due to her excellent payment history the were authorized to lower the interest rate on all of her credit cards. It seemed legitimate to her so she continued the call. At one point she was "Put on hold" during which I asked who it was. She didnt have any specifics so I asked her to get their business name and a callback number so I could check the legitimacy with my cell phone and computer. Immediately after asking for then finally demanding the information they got extremely offensive. I took over the call as I could see that my wife was very disturbed by the situtation. Once they realized I was on the phone and demanding to know who they were they got very abusive calling me rude names etc with copious use of the F-word among others. I kept my calm but continued my demands. At the end of the conversation, one of the two males on the other end threatened to kill me and after my challenging them to "Bring It" they then proceeded to threaten to kill my wife. I advise anyone who sees this number on their caller ID to DO NOT ANSWER. The are attemppting to get your credit information so they can steal your money and obviously not above criminal threatening.
