I do not answer unidentified out of town calls, but the partial mssg was offering to lower my credit card interest rates. Caller i.d. was "Phone Scam" -- now THAT's truth in advertising!

After several such calls to which I had simply ignored or hung up, 3 such calls ago (caller ID actually said 'phone scam') I requested my number be removed from their dialer database and the employee assured me it would be done.

Today, again was called from above # and I pressed #9 to talk to a person. The person was glib and mocked my complaint, as I described my frustration. I asked him if he knew about the national no-call list and he said "no". This conversation lasted at least 10 minutes, during which time he said it was 'impossible' for me to complain, that if I did complain it would not do any good, he also said his name was 'Peter Williams' and that he was calling from Kabul, Afghanistan. At that point he asked me if I was 'scared'.

It is obvious from my own experiences and those of others who are being bothered by this deliberate, illegal 'phone scam', that this company should be shut down and fully prosecuted.
