got a call from mr knight and he left a message, saying he was and auditor from the irs and I was being audited for irregularities on my tax return, heavy accent, very hard to understand, he really sounds like a Nigerian scammer.

Exact same call as described above..accusing us of fraud and to call back and rectify immediately..chilling to think we may actually be hearing the voice of some organization looking for funds to further efforts to kill us

SCAMMER - Just received the same call 571-210-5561 badge or code 46719/6719 Jonathon Knight. I asked who they were calling for refused to answer. I kept calling them back.

I just got the same call saying I am filing a fraudulent tax filing & I am trying to hide $$$$ from the IRS Johnathan Kinght #6719 to call him immediately. I did not answer just listened to the message. Knew it was fake!

The good news is that on newer Iphones, if you click the little "I" with the circle around it on the top right corner and then scroll down, you can block it. A recent featue Apple added.

Yeah, I received the same phone call this morning from a "Jonathan Knight" from the "IRS"; very hard to make out what was being said; didn't answer the phone directly; kept playing message back; but always remember the IRS contacts you usually by mail or should; phone calls should always be considered "spam" from these kinds of jerks. Preying on older citizens; he should be put away for a long, long time. Isn't his impersonation a federal offense?????

I got the same call...lol. I called him back and told him I was from the IRS and I gave him my badge number, Well he hung up, so then I just continued to call him repeatedly for an hour. I think I rattled him a little as he wasn't expecting that. Over all I had a good time playing the game with this idiot.
