I got the exact same phone call. It is an obvious scam, probably originating from a prison somewhere in Sterling Virginia!

Fraudulent phishing scam.

Mr. Jonathan Knight of the IRS - gave badge number....Says they have conducted an audit of my returns and that I am hiding assets from the Fed Gov. This MUST be rectified immediately.
Very gruff, "breaker" voice - very strong foreign accent. Would probably scare a lot of people. Annoying and sad.

Message on answering machine from Jonathon Knight with the FBI. Badge # 46719. Very thick foreign accent. I could only understand every 4th word. The gist was the IRS says I owed money on a serious tax report mistake. blah, blah, blah. This phone # calls every day! It reeks SCAM!

I had the same phone call. The whole time he kept talking I told him he was an A hole a piece of sh*t
I will give him credit, it did not bother him at all LMAO
