This number has been showing up on my phone for a couple of weeks. Each time I answered I got no response. This morning I got a computerized voice message from Jonathan Knight Badge No. 06719 stating that I filed fraudulent taxes. I have not yet filed my taxes yet. so what's he talking about?

This prison called & tried to tell me I owe the IRS. He tried to say I filed taxes from 2001-2008 & lied on them. When I told him I've never filed taxes in my life he hung up on me! Also he was clearly arab by his accent!

Same issue as everyone else. Some idiot, or computer generated generic voice left a message saying "you commited fraud on your tax return".

Same thing as everyone else; a person with a thick accent calling himself "Jonathan Knight" from the IRS claims that there is a tax fraud that I am supposedly hiding form the IRS that I'd better get resolved.

just received call from Jonathan Knight - claiming to be from IRS and that I had to deal with an allegation of tax fraud and owed taxes .. when I called back and asked if this was part of a scam and that I did not want to receive any further calls he said ok and hung up - why are these people not caught already?

Starts off as a recording, then claims Jonathan Knight is from the IRS. It is a scam and not related to any other IRS departmental numbers.

Just received a call from Jonathan Knight (a definite English name) telling me that he worked for the IRS and that they had discovered a fraud against me and wanting me to provide info to them. Like others have said, "SURE, I'm going to give vital info to some idiot who claims to work for the IRS, has and English name, CAN'T SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH, and has a middle-eastern accent. I may have been born at night....but not last night!

I received the same phone call. When did Jonathan Knight from The New Kids on the block start working for the IRS??? The Indian accent was amazing.. Ya like I am going to giving any information or send anything to someone who can't even speak english. This is the second time these morons have called.

Received two voice messages today (3/2/15) from Jonathan Knight, Badge # 06719, reporting that my tax returns were fraudulent and that I'm hiding money from the IRS. First thing I did was look up the phone number on the Internet and came across these postings.

Was called and told there was fraud in my tax return and his name was Jonathan Knight Badge # 06719 and to call immediately as it was time sensitive. Could barely understand him because he could not speck English very well.

Claimed to be a IRS endorsement agent and I told him he was a lie. When I called back he answered as the IRS and when I asked him to speak to my brother Inlaw from Homeland Security he hung up real fast. Man with Indian accent made the call.

Received same call from "Officer" Jonathan Knight saying he was a Federal Investigator from the IRS claiming I was hiding income--please! I work for the federal government and believe me they would know because of periodic background checcks.
