Called my cell phone. I am a pastor. Only church members, friends, and family have my number. None of my family would have given it out. Got on this website and found out it was a scam.
These people call and say you were looking for employment online or you took a survey. They are trying to steal your identity. Do NOT give them ANY info about yourself
Stated I had taken an online survey and they wanted personal information for their database to look for a job.
Based on an "online survey" which I did not fill out they were trying to get me to sign up for some employment service
Caller stated his name and company as WN Positions. Stated I had responded to survey online identifying I was open to looking for a job. He took my name, address, phone, email and stated he would send me logon to their website to search jobs. He then stated that if I could attend school/college without having to work, and paid by others or with grants would I be interested. I stated yes. He promptly connected me to another firm who verifies my name and address, and then connects me with an education counselor in my area. The Counselor asked a few questions about my interest and if I was ready to begin education within 6 months. I stated yes, if someone else is paying for it. She stated that they had connected me to the wrong number then, and the call terminated.
