I am getting calls daily and sometimes back to back with different numbers. Totally frustrating. I have area codes 917, 401, 510, 224, 785. The messages are all 21 seconds (one was 19) and they say "Please call immediately on our department number (xxx) xxx-xxxx. I repeat (xxx) xxx-xxxx. Thank you." The one time I picked up the phone it was the same automated message but the beginning says "The IRS is preparing to file a lawsuit against you. (then it launches into what I wrote above).

IRS scam claiming that this is your final notice and the IRS is filing suit against you.
