7.26.17 10.52a Received a call they left message a Michael McMillan in arbitration says it is Single, Grand and Associates. They regret to inform me their office is retained to file civil lawsuit in conjunction with local county courts system. They want to give me opportunity to contact office and resolve this matter on voluntary basis, it is time sensitive matter. The call came from 585-207-0857 but return call to this number 844-523-5134. He was rude, constantly degraded me and threatened to call my HR department, have my wages garnished, take all my assest. But yet when asking him to give me the information of who turned me over he could give me nothing. He was telling me it was First Interstate Bank, I told him I have never done business with this bank and to give me more information so I could research info. Any time asked for info, he told me I was obviously a piece of [***] cause I could not take care of my finances. Then was telling me it was a prepaid card. I have never had a prepaid card and you cannot collect on a prepaid card. He would never stop yelling for me to get any information. He kept throwing out there that he was an attorney. I asked him for the owner of his company and he stated that was none of my business. And I had until 5p to clear this up. I have tried searching for this company and nothing comes up in google. When I called them back to ask them for there address and his Bar # he refused to give it to me. State Law they must give it to you. He then still refused to give me any information on who he was collecting for, then turned around and said he was not attorney that I was lieing and I was the one that called him. He then hung up. I have since filed a complaint with the State Attorney General and anyone else also should file with theirs. I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Financial Bereau complaint.consumerfinance.gov
