The message on my call said that I needed to call the IRS Hotline at (585) 310-3878. Supposedly Julie Smith and taking action is the threat. Computer generated message. An obvious scam to me, but somebody must be taking the bait otherwise they would have given up long ago.

Received the same call. What made me laugh, though, is that "Julie" signs off by saying, "Good bye and Take Care". Like the IRS would actually say that to anyone.

I just received the same call from Julie Smith. Message left on device, from this "Officer" from IRS, saying were going to take action against me if I don't respond. Very threatening. Voice sounded computer produced. Left that number as IRS Hotline.

Pre recording Julie, I.R.S doesn't do these calls...wish we could do more than just block them.

I got the same call, computer generated voice, IRS Agent Julie Smith. Saying it was urgent I return the call. It's obviously a scam. The IRS so u mcmahon send a letter first.

The caller did not identify herself. It did sound like a possibly computer generated voice. In a very threatening and sarcastic tone she said: "Action against you. Goodbye and take care."

Called our house and threatened my college age son with arrest if he didn't immediately go to the bank and get a cashiers check for 2,500.00 to send in. I tried talking to him to have him mail us documentation, but he just kept yelling and wouldn't let me talk. Obvious scam. The IRS doesn't do anything without sending mail correspondence first.
