I also got a call from a guy who i could not understand who said he was officer charles williams said i took money from personal cash advance and there is a law suit against me. I did not take any money from there was just looking around at places to get a short payday loan from. Found a great compay US fast cash and have already paid them back. I told this officer charles williams that i thought this was a scam. He said I had to pay him 324 dollars today or i would have a lawsuit against me in the amount of up to 11000. I told him I would call my lawyer and have them speak to him. He said no that we could just work this out between me and him and just give him the ok to get the money. I hung up on him. This is a big scam going to call the attorney general's office about this and the newspapers.

"Officer Charles Williams with Fraud Investigations Unit." Stated there was a "lawsuit against my SS# ending in **** "( had numbers correct). If I didnt return the call, or an attorney didn't, than I would be "in very big trouble, and all he could do is wish me good luck."

hello i just wanted to know if you found any more info on this so called fraud investigator because i just received the same type of phone call from the same number from a officer david johnson who had a horrible accent. I don't know but it all like fraud to me. I was just wondering if all of this is legit and should i seek a lawyer or was this all spam or fraud because the guy wanted me to fax him a letter of my personal information with my credit card info to authorize them to deduct some finances to resolve a so call issue that i have no idea what they are refering to
Someone called from out of the country & said he was going to download a lawsuit against us & to call him back @ this #. Could barely understand him, terrible accent.
